Our Sunday Family Afternoon

We try to spend Sundays as a family doing fun things. We usually vote or talk about ideas and then set out to do them. This past Sunday we headed off to church, then the boys stayed for Sunday school. We enjoyed lunch at home and talked about what we wanted to do for family time. Noah decided he wanted to try bowling. It has been years since we have bowled, it was a great idea.

Joel bowled a 100!

When Noah suggested we go bowling he did not realize that you had to wear bowling shoes. For a child on the like Noah this is a hard concept to grasp. He is told daily not to wear other people’s belongings and today we want you to wear stranger’s shoes. Once we talked that over and got him  settled with the idea, he really had a wonderful time. He bowled a 76!

For a family of four to bowl for two hours we paid $12 including shoe rental. I think it was well worth the $12 investment in our family.

A Clean Start

There is nothing I like better then a clean start, especially a journal opened for the very first time. That is how I feel about this blog right now. I am not sure which direction my posts will head, but with the topics of being a Frugal Mom Living in a Boys' World is pretty broad, but it included all matters dear to my heart. So welcome to my new blog!
